The Lahntechnik Group is a medium-sized family-run enterprise whose mission is to produce the best cooling technology for many industries. More than 14,000 individual products leave the factory halls of the company in Nassau near Bad Ems in Germany every year.

Our core business is developing the best cooling technologies for all relevant applications. We always plan, develop, manufacture and test our systems according to individual customer requirements.
In addition, our optimally designed service concepts ensure long machine service lives while minimizing equipment downtime. For example, we offer low-wear medium control systems with up to +/-0.02 K.
The goal is to ensure optimum plant operation for our customers, and for us the responsibility doesn’t stop at installation and commissioning. LIM—Lahntechnik Information Monitoring ensures the safety of the equipment which in turn ensures optimum operation. Using LIM enables us to retrieve the data of the chillers located at our customers’ sites in real time using VPN tunnels and high cybersecurity. LIM allows all relevant parameters to be checked from “mobile devices”. This means that possible malfunctions are quickly detected, and optimization options can be quickly identified. Our remote maintenance concepts are based on remote diagnosis that can be carried out at short notice by our service team at any time via a gateway. Faults are detected quickly and rectified just as fast. We put together the remote maintenance packages on an individual basis, always customized to specific needs and with maximum transparency!

It goes without saying that this also includes doing everything possible for sustainable business and driving forward developments in this area as well. As an example, we prefer to design with low-GWP refrigerants. When using natural refrigerants such as propane, we work closely with our customers during the project planning phase to ensure that the new requirements are implemented correctly. For small systems with a refrigerant charge >150g, we use R290 and R600a as climate-friendly alternatives.
Another impressive feature of our system technology is its energy efficiency, which is another aspect of sustainability. We use EC fans, speed-controlled pumps and compressors as well as electronic e-valves and two-chamber tanks.
